Brilliant product works very well and is now a firm favourite in our garden in an on going diy water feature
I have it in an old birdbath and i haven’t bothered with the spray attachments as these shoot pretty high in full sun
I would imagine in a pond and with the other nozzles it would shoot up even higher

I had something similar a while back and it stopped working the moment the sun went behind a cloud

It has an automatic cut out so don’t think it is broken it just needs to be turned upside down out of the sun for a few seconds and then turned back again to get the motor working again
