The only negative i have found with the remote is that you have to change the mini switch every time you want to control a different receiver switch not using the same number

I give it 4 stars because you have to flip a switch on the remote to whatever outlet youre turning on then hit the on button

Not a big deal if youre not switching between lots of outlets all the time but a nuisance nonetheless

Plus i can add additional tools 120 v to the setup planer chop saw drill press band saw and start the dust collector from each station

The only issue i have is location based i have one of the receivers controlling my shop vac and it appears to be too close to the motor and gets interference when trying to shut it off

The rf remotes makes it where there does not have to have to be a line of sight to work
