Pros

This is the only kind of hubs that you can easily hot plug and unplug. Other ports work simultaneously to connect to desktop hp running windows 10.

Cons

The anker usb hub is very poor quality. Hardly used it, packed it away, then moved. It is a shame since i liked the form factor and it sits nicely on a desk.

The hub intermittently disconnects and reconnects these usb storage devices, and most concerning the usb plugs in the hub get really hot. Some ports no longer work at all, and other points work intermittently.
