The first seven chapters are fantastic but chapter 8 is so overhwelming because there is so many things touched upon viewholder fragments fragmentmanager recyclerview adapters without the concepts being broken apart so you can learn them clearly

I have moved quickly through the first 7 chapters and now in the 8th chapter there are so many concepts thrown at you at once you cannot get your head around one quick enough to grasp any one of the concepts

Im now in the process of deconstructing the app so i can separate what theyve done in the fragments from the recyclerview from the viewholder and the adapter

Maybe the authors will reevaluate and make chapter 8 better in the next 4th edition

Though you need to be familiar with java the book assumes no knowledge of android development and takes you through multiple apps that you build from scratch
