Pros
Double layered pot keeps coffee hot long enough. Handle stays cool - and it oozes quality. Holds 2 medium sized mugfulls, just about right for me.
Stainless steel cafetière is perfect for a quick cup of real coffee. Won't shatter, as glass cafetieres can, if you accidently knock it. Pours beautifully without any drips.
This is exactly what i wanted. Very well packaged and presented. Happy as larry. Pleased with the purchase.
Cons
Double walled jug alone is not enough to keep the coffee hot. It makes a horrible scraping noise when pushing the plunger down. Since the reviews are very positive, this is hopefully just a faulty product and not the case for the press generally.

Arrived with a slight imperfection on main body where black had chipped and showed small bit of silver but needed for gift for husband so didn’t return

Also the black paint is already starting to chip off after a few weeks so if thats going to bother you go for the steel finish
