It is translucent an inch from the seams and very cold. Somehow it isn't breathable either. Even in the comfort range, the bag still feels very drafty. Not comfy, woke up freezing.

The sleeping bag looks well made and i am sure he will love it
Not used yet but dam good quality
I believe this to be as the velcro bond was stronger than the stitching

I contacted the provider and they were very helpful and sent a replacement which arrived within 2 days

The service from the provider was excellent the original bag failed to appear even though it was sent tracked with the royal mail

However on first use the velcro closure point at the top of the zip closure came away from the bag

Also the compression bag supplied would have been better if it were the same colour as the bag itself
