Pros

This retro style cake place is beautiful and well-made. This cake stand looks pricey but isn't. Beautiful cake holder looks very attractive on the table.

The only downside is that the crystal lid is quite heavy. I wish it was a bit more balanced — with the bottom half a bit sturdier — but other than that i have no complaints. Heavy not flimsy.

Real, heavy glass feels classier and more impressive than acrylic/ plastic. Made by the iconic american glass company anchor hocking. Turn the cake plate upside down and insert the dome inside the pedestal.

This cake plate although not too high on the dome (fits bundt cake). It is better for 8 layer, or smaller bundt cakes. Perfect to keep my bratty cat out of my sweet treats! Covers standard pies and cakes.

It is sleek and classy. It is simple yet elegant. Very versatile and easy to clean. Ready to clean by hand or dishwasher.

Cons

The glass quality is cheap. It's smaller than the item description says.

The plate surface on mine is not totally flat. As a result, the dome wobbles slightly. When the pedestal is inverted for use as a punch bowl, the unevenness of the plate surface (now the base of punch bowl) causes the whole bowl to wobble.
