It hugs the keys with a thin film membrane, does not impede keyboard operations. Works well for scratches, bumps, and the occasional life saving fall. Does the trick on this lightning fast macbook pro.

Cheaply made and the keyboard protector came wrinkled up. Made of cheap, thin, low quality plastic that came cracked. Maybe mine is defective but i’m thinking it’s just cheap.
