Pros

This cookbook is a must-have for all tolkien fans. The food history/hobbityness of it is great, as is the ample use of butter. I’m giving it a five-star rating because it’s simply delightful.

Lavender-lemon bread is very yummy. These are all tasty and made for a perfect eat like a hobbit day for my boy's birthday. The love here definitely extends from the heart to the stomach.

The instructions are clear and filled with interesting bits of history and humor. A little confusion there. It precisely follows the 'rules' j.

The recipes seem to be doable and creative. The photos and the writing are beautiful, informative, and inspiring. The illustration are just as good as the recipes!

Cons
