Works when plugged into a mains to usb adapter too so a definite plus had one for my old lg that didnt data transmission is good too

Phone synch 2 both plugs are moulded whereas cheaper versions sometimes use clipon shrouds that fall to bitsnote that this works exactly the same way as the factory lead but is obviously much neater in order to work for data the usb data connections are not shorted internally

This means that it will only charge in usb mode if connected to a usb port but will charge in ac mode if connected to a genuine or suitable mains charger

Some other cables do short the data connections or only have 3 wires to begin with so the phone will always charge as if connected to ac but then a it can draw too much power from your pc and b it wont work for data or wont work reliablyif the short length 2

Also for this reason the slightest tug breaks the datacharge connection usually the data connection is more temperamental

The inflexible cables put more stress on the plug in both the computer and the attached device and it also makes it ore difficult to place phone and cables exactly where you want them
