Pros

Very well made and sturdy tank. Clean weld lines and good powder coat. Clear bubble to check for failure is brilliant.

Comes precharged at 50psi. Well cut threads in the top, nice cover on the air *, and charged to 50 psi as per the instructions. A heat trap is recommended with most water heater manufactures.

Use the proper sized wrench for the job and snug it down. Use teflon tape to wrap the threads several times with the teflon tape.

Easy install. Easiest way to get the exact part. Easy to install. Have not installed it yet, but do not expect any problems.

Cons

Amtrol thermal expansion tanks are junk. Very disappointed with outcome of installation. Bought with amazon, then they sell me old junk.

Cured the problem on my leaky pressure valve and a great price

Paid a few bucks more and got this one and is as advertised

Shipping

It took a few days for the delivery but the product was excellent

Came quickly was exactly what i wanted

Shipping is super slow though 9 days from washington to pennsylvania

Packaging/appearance

The turbulator in the box arrived brokencrushed under the tankbut i called amtrol and they sent me a replacement
