I have a halfsize apartment washer and put my delicates in these bags to wash

The mesh was so thick that it looked like soapy water actually struggled to get inside and then out as they were still damp when i took them out of the dryer

With these zippered bags i dont have to worry about drawstrings getting caught on the washing machines innards or tangling around other clothes and i dont have to worry about the contents falling out in the middle of a wash cycle
