Pros

Each slide slot is numbered with a sheet that can be mounted on the lid for that number's content. The boxes are nice too, everything fits snugly. Most have some debris inside the mount, but not too bad.

We use them in our homeschool learning and the kids ask to look at them in their free time. It is not bad for a student. Definitely gets the curiosity flowing of my son.

This set is well made with lots of wonderful things to marvel at. It gets points for its wide range of specimens, and for its low cost, but loses a point for uneven stain quality.

Cons

Incredibly poor quality. No way. The wooden boxes have rough edges on them.
