Pros & Cons
Pros
Amscope microscope has up to 1000x magnification. Cellular detail and clarity are very good directly in the center.
In my opinion this scope deserves 6-stars. The instructions manual makes it clear on how to set it up for use.
The 25x eyepiece increases the contrast and gives a dark background. It comes with a blue filter, but i wasn't sure where to place the filter. I'm a photographer and i prefer higher contrast images and that is what the condenser is for to increase con... Read More
Led light far better than tungsten or halogen. The materials feel high quality and any of the knobs are smooth to turn. Optics are good, focusing is easy, and the lighting fully adjustable.
Cons
Lenses are poor quality, so the distortion at the outer 1/3 of the field are significant. Good design but debris in optics and poor assembly kill a good design.
