Never read very accurate. It invariably reads 98 degrees. The tympanic setting is the worst and always says 96. But that’s useless if the temperature is always so inaccurate…definitely not medical grade!

Forehead swipe 1 rest tip lightly in the middle of forehead on the skin 2 hold button down you will hear a soft ticking as you 3 slowly slide across forehead to temple

There will be beeps to tell you if there is fever before you even look at the screen
