Pros & Cons
Pros
Hardboard is one of my favorite surfaces to paint on (i use acrylics). This works great for support for watercolor and pastel paintings. To hold my entire sketch book with *, not pages, i tape my papers to this to make my art more mobile.
Cons
These are not waterproof, and once warped they are useless for watercolors as it will cause your colors to run together. Visibly warped on delivery. Covered with considerable dust and contaminates.
