Pros
The ampeak 3000w pure sine wave power inverter is a reliable and powerful choice for those in need of a high-capacity inverter. The display to see the output wattage, and its numerous amounts of integrated protection is great.
I recommend using at least 2 to 3 foot long, 4 gauge pure copper cables bolted to your battery terminals instead of using *. Included is a metric wrench for use on the battery connectors. The included cables are adequately heavy and flexible.
The build quality is excellent, providing durability and longevity. The overload, overheat, undercool (too cold) protection features are nice to have.
Cons
It shuts itself off randomly. Deep cycle battery is 100% when charge voltage is 12. Whenever we plug in the fridge it pops out, ( and we smelled smoke a couple times), when camping, almost nothing worked.

The amount of amperage that this can pull is huge the voltage will definitely drop unless you have multiple batteries in series or psrallel
4 volts i ran my popcorn popper which pulled just over 800 watts and the voltage barely stayed above 11 volts

At this price point i highly recommend it

Emailed customer service they asked what ambient temperature was and what my order number was sent that to them and havent heard back
A few days later i received a brand new unit in the mail
Contacted ampeak and had a brand new unit in 3 days
Packaging/appearance
I like that it came with cables it’s ready to go right out of the box
Time will tellit seems like a good quality and it came well packaged
Competitiveness
Overall been very happy with this inverter and highly recommend considering the price compared to similar inverters in its class
The price point is high but looking at other units they are all about the same
