First there isnt a not that holds the underside of the faucet to the sink

The issue its that the hole where you put the screw through is plastic and not threaded and the screw is extremely easy to strip and the wrap does not close around the water line easily making it impossible to complete this task

Beyond that the faucet is pretty nice and replaces the moen faucet that came with the house that is a piece of garbage

I installed this american standard faucet in about 15 minutes once i had the old faucet taken out

This faucet is exactly as difficult to install as any other which is not difficult at all

The pull out faucet returns to position if the weight and hose are installed correctly and the spray pattern stays on the setting you last used
