Pros

After a couple of weeks, the nose is more pleasant, flavor is similar to woodford reserve double oaked, and it finishes very smooth. A good all around bourbon.

This product rocks and is well worth the purchase. Still experimenting. Now you have to mirror that situation to another situation that's the same.

I let it soak for about 4-5 days and it was beautiful. Second pic is at 1 week! Couple weeks with an inch chunk for a 1.

Cons

This product is not the most effective for adding oaky, toast flavor notes to, or aging bourbon. None of them have anything resembling a char/toast aroma or appearance.

I have also used them with bourbon and then put the bourbon in the beer.

I am a home brewer and have good luck with using them in the keg.

I have not used them in secondary, but, that's basically the same as putting them in the keg.

First i tried pouring a quart's worth of my premixed manhattans into a glass jug and put in one of the sprials.

Competitiveness

They also are too wide to fit in anything smaller than a 1gallon carboy.

Way to expensive imho although they work very well

Both carboys contain the same liquid however there is a notable difference between the two.
