It just makes things so much easier for an amateur. Perfect for my 51 wood fired oven. Only minor disadvantage is that a wood version would allow pizzas to slide more easily.

Cons

There is a bump where the handle attaches to the peel. From the edge of the peel to the bump is only 10.

My wife thinks it’s too big for home use but she also burns her fingers a lot so hopefully the long handle will help

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Can’t believe the value at this price i was thinking it would be basic thin metal

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I did end up shortening the handle by about 834 once i used it i realized my grill and my indoor oven dont need the reach of the long handle and i was always holding it halfway down for stability anyway

As a perpetually clumsy person theres a good chance that at some point id hit the end of the handle that sticks out behind me when i go in or out the door and send the pizza frisbeeing off into the ground
