Difficult to remove without the danger of hooking your finger. There are better designed and safer protectors than this one. There is no way the protector will stay firmly in place.

For anyone that fishes with lures such as crank baits top waters spinners and spoons and so on you know how annoying it can be to constantly get hung up on the treble hooks
