Made from real wood uses common furniture assembly procedures and fasteners could benefit from some wood glue but absolutely not required

First off like the other reviewers say do not install the hinges last as the instructions say

You will not be able to get a screwdriver whether stubby side ratchet whatever into the compartment to tighten the wood screws into the little holes wont work

So moral of the story install the hinges first before anything else or you will have to take apart the whole thing like i did to screw them down

Fortunately i was mindful enough not to install the trim pegs onto the frame until i checkedtried to install the door

Secondly like the other reviewers you will need to install something on the end of the top of the shaft that sticks through the trigger of the top gun

Some said they tapped the shaft and put a bolt on it i drilled sideways through the shaft its just mild steel and put a hitch pin that i later replaced with a small brass lock

The lock bar will just fall downoff without something on the end of that shaft
