They usually fell into two camps 1 those who found the oem fan way too noisy and 2 those who overclock their cpu and want to really cool off their machine

Downloaded and then installed the speedfan utility and after fumbling around a bit trying to figure out how to use it finally arrived at the solution on how to slow down the cpu fan
