Also due to pictures i didnt expect the backplate to come with itdidnt need it as the bracket was the only part that was broken

As with all things like this double check the part number before ordering it is stamped into the plastic or at least it was on mine

I cant say if it was a defective product or just a bad overall design since the part of the bracket that is broken is exactly the same for both the original as well as the replacement bracket

I bought this item to test out a cpu that i had laying around my house

The computer i was working on had an amd processor and 1 of the bracket clips where the heat sinkfan attach to had broken off when the user accidentally knocked over her tower
