Thermal camera can detect insulation leaks or electrical problems. Easy to use and works perfectly for human temperatures. Accuracy is spot on as i tested the temp of our central air and a pot of boiling water.
The amcrest has a nice big rubber boot to protect the micro sd card and micro usb.

The build quality is fantastic and while i would never recommend dropping such a camera i believe it is sturdy enough to take some bangs
Im also very impressed with the software features
This could not be done with the human eye alone
There was absolutely no documentation included with the camera and no qr codes etc

Interior walls it was a bit more difficult as the studs were very close to the temp of the surface walls

While the amcrest has a lower resolution sensor i really am not able to tell any noticeable difference in the resolution of either thermal camera when viewing both side by side

This means you have to walk around looking in a different direction than where you are pointing the thermal camera
