Pros
Easy to install and sturdy product. Great buy from amazon. A few milimeters shorter but it'a a perfect fit.
Meets the same specs and removes more than just taste. Improvement in particulate coming through fridge water and ice. Ice in my ice maker actually looks clearer too.
This premium version apparently does a better job that the standard version. It's still quite affordably priced, and that's very important to me. I like the convenience of getting this on subscribe and save.
Cons
Water drips out so slowly it takes 2 minutes to just fill one glass. Have ran 20+gallons of water through the fridge and same problem.
Will buy original samsung filter. Really disappointed that a amazon basics product is priced higher than oem ge mwf filter. Will go back to the original samsung part after this. Don't buy this. Look somewhere else. Buy from oem.

I have not installed the filter that i bought this time as it is a backup and will be installed the next time the filter has to be changed

One thing to note this is made in china i am not entirely sure if the original is also made in china
