It came damaged in the top right corner (looks like it was dropped rather than a manufacturing defect) but it's no big deal.

Paper is the same high quality but the grid lines don't align from page to page perfectly like with moleskins or leuchtturms and they're also not numbered.

For that purpose i wanted something simple and dignified, not a sparkly kids' notebook from the dollar store.

Pay attention to the dimensions, this is a smaller notebook, more medium-sized to be accurate.
