The pockets are also large enough to hold a phone but i probably wouldn’t run with a phone in there as the pocket is generous and the phone would be bouncing around

From there up under both your left ear and right ear there is a small hoop of fabric through which you could thread a pair of headphones that are plugged into a phone in either of the interior pockets
