This is a warm coat for very cold weather. The fabric is not stiff but rather flexible. I would say the weight is about medium. Not extremely heavy but it's certainly not lightweight. Ordered a size 6 and it's true to size. At 5'4 it hits just below the knee. I like the neutral camel color which goes with just about everything, the 2 gold snaps, and the coat's style. If you want a more defined figure, definitely cinch the belt; otherwise, it's quite straight. The 2 snaps take a little more effort than one would hope for a coat but they're certainly doable. An extra snap is included and sewn on the label. It's 79% polyester and 21% wool (lining is 100% polyester) so it's dry clean only - no washing or ironing. If you live in a cold climate or are traveling to one, this is the coat you want to have.   Read Less
