Pros

I know this review is super late. Other than that excellent product. No problems at all. Very happy with this purchase.

Even outdoors. Worked great at more than 10 feet. Works with both my after market lenses. Will update when new lens comes out.

The remote comes with a very classy velvet bag to keep it in.

Cons

Kinda defeats the purpose of having a remote. The button goes down when pressed. The caption is very misleading.

My bluetooth is on but remote will not pair. My camera settings say infrared devices will not work. Doesn't seem to work at all in discord.

Quality

I am pleased with the construction and function of this inexpensive wireless shutter control

This is an amazon branded ir remote with the same function as the nikon mll3 remote at half the price

It has nothing to do with the fn button and the old timer 210s setting method

I bought it because the canon product cant be ship to my address

Price

Before the price was lower and id just buy a new one but it has gone up so im going to try replacing the battery instead

I couldn’t find mine and i almost bought another one until i saw the price increase i know it’s been a few years but from around 8

Shipping

My solution is to leave the clear plastic strip in place keeps the battery from making contact during shipping when im not using the remote

Competitiveness

I have a t2i 550d and this worked perfectly first time out of the box

It was compatible for my nikon d5500 dslr camera

I started to insert a cr2032 and it felt like the case would break if i were to insert it fully just go get a cr2025

I read some people have used a cr2032 battery but i would not recommend that

After visiting a few forums i realized that this was a common problem with this device and can be remedied by either placing a layer or two of paper on the positive side of the battery to force the battery down slightly when the tray is in or replace the 2025 battery with a slightly thicker 2032 battery
