Pros
Using in greenhouse for winter months. It's silent, which is what i wanted for the bedroom. Easily heated up an always cold basement. Watts does better than that 2500 watt.
These heaters are just awesome. Bought the product for my moms bedroom. A wonderful space saver.
The smells goes away pretty quickly, so the barnyard smell is manageable. Makes you want to bring a couple of bales of hay in to com[lete the ambiance.
Cons

As for the smell of the unit yes it did smell like dental disinfectant for a short time

This heater does have an odd lanolin smellafter weeks of use the smell is becoming faint

As others have posted the unit needs to be installed horizontally while the info shows it vertical the unit has a definite smell when on and i am hoping this eventually goes away and the surface is ceramic so it will not be easy to clean
