This remote has both volume control and mute * and i no longer need the samsung remote to adjust the volume. Comes pre-programmed to work with your roku tv. Easily programmed to work my vizio tv.
At about $12, this remote is a no brainer! Thankfully, found this little gem. It’s a lifesaver.
Using this remote makes it much easier to navigate. Used with roku (roku 3 and roku express 4) it makes this remote a little thinner than a roku remote, but otherwise the size is roughly the same.
The * react better than the original tv remote. The only problem is that on youtube and roku channel the remote sometimes tries to go two or three selections too many, sorta like i was holding a button down too long.
Amaz247 nails it. Everything works perfectly as if this is the original control of my lost roku control. It just works. Controls all work as expected.

Unfortunately unlike the newer generations there is no power or volume control buttons

I did not want to waste money buying a whole new plugin if the other one worked just fine and most of the remotes i saw online were meant for roku tvs and not the roku plugins
