I bought this grabber primarily to pick up litter and it is very effective even picking up small leaves but it is also useful for picking up socks and slippers which if you have back problems is a boon

These are great for if you suffer with a bad back suffer with poor mobility or if you just get a kick out of pinching the buttocks of family members while theyre not looking
