The bit isn't sharp and has big nicks in the cutting edge because of poor casting and machining. The bit cuts cleanly, however, it cuts very slowly. Guess i will have yo try and sharpen it myself.

After using this bit in a drill press on wood with uneven hardness across the working surface i ended up with a slight topedge mess

Keep in mind that one of those drywall hole saws is probably easier to use as you remove less material

Even grinding through curly black walnut it warms up but its heavy enough that it doesnt get hot

It’s a lot of metal and i wouldn’t want it spinning in my cheap drill press or a hand drill
