Pros & Cons
Pros
It adheres well and smoothly. The adhesive is very good! The stickiness is really good and the thickness of the tape is good. It's sticky and doesn't try to pull up easily.
As a frequent user of duct tape but a newbie to insulation tape, it's a bit different, but in a good way. The shortage is closer to 5/64. Simplistic to use as well as cost affective.
Highlights
Quality
The self adhesive tape is super strong and can be used in a wide variety of applications
The quality is great appears to be heat resistant and is very easy to use when repairing a dryer duct
The aluminum tape is fire water and rust proof and can be used indoors or outdoors
Air exposure eventually causes the adhesive to weaken while still on the roll resulting in poor adhesion to another surface when applied
Price
I think that this will save me an expensive exhaust pipe replacement
This is a good value for money
This roll was a great value for the money and since im not a contractor it may last me the rest of my life
Competitiveness
Very comparable to the name brand that sells for a whole lot more at hardware store
This worked just as well as the name brand at the big box store
