Pros

The etching is clear and very visible, and when compared with my old trusty ruler it is very accurate. The measurements are clearly marked and easy to read.

Cons

The zero mark is about a quarter of an inch from the end of the ruler. The only positive is that it's nice and thick, so it's rigid instead of floppy.
