Pros
They are as dependable as my truck. If you’re mindful of that though these will probably last a good while. The caps are made completely solid instead of them being hollow and just collapsing in.
Cons
The way these are set up one buckle is on the outside of my right knee & on my left knee the buckles are on the inside of my knee. Seems you can't use anything very hard without it ripping or degrading nowadays.

It is only riveted to the top layer of fabric and the way the rivets are distributed trends to the upper part of the knee pad leaving the bottom open to get caught on something and tear off

I cant say how theyd stand up to serious abuse but for digging in the ground up walking to the next place and down to dig in the ground again
