Strength And Durability
Customers are highly impressed with the strength and durability of the ALPIDEX Camp Bed. Despite its lightweight design, it is able to support heavy weights comfortably and has been used successfully in challenging conditions such as the Sahara desert. Some customers have noted that while it may be heavier than other camping beds for backpacking purposes, it is an excellent choice for non-carrying camping trips.
Comfort
Customers are highly satisfied with the comfort of the ALPIDEX Camp Bed. They find it easy to set up, sturdy and comfortable, even for heavier individuals. Some users have used it in combination with air mattresses for added comfort. A few customers mentioned that they prefer it over inflatable mattresses due to its ease of use and quick assembly. However, a small concern was raised about the bed's stability when leaning to one side.
Assembly Ease
Customers generally find the assembly of the ALPIDEX Camp Bed quick and straightforward, praising the hand grip tensioning system for making the process easier. Some mention needing a bit of strength to securely lock the legs in place.
Highlights
Quality
Perfect item for the job, lighweight sturdy and easy to assemble
Easy to assemble, the parts are light but sturdy.
I've used that heavily for a few years, and a couple of the aluminium poles have now split and the outer poles have warped.
This appears that the bedding material is so stretched to the pipes and it rubs each other causing this noise.
Price
Some say expensive for what they are.
Shipping
Very prompt delivery too by the company.
Packaging/appearance
Although if size is an issue for you, packed down it is more than double the size of the ultra-light type of camping beds.
The package is small and portable - i plan to take it on the back of my motorbike for away trips.
Competitiveness
Very lightweight at a fraction of the cost of some competitors.

I chose this as a replacement for a few reasons partly it looked a lot more solid the sleeping area is a bit larger then my old bed and i like the redblack colour scheme

Fewer legs of course means that it packs down smaller and is presumably cheaper as well since there are less parts

The quality seems very good material stitching and annodising and there are some well thought out features like small pockets at the open end of the sleeves to hold the side rails in place
