It's very effective in grounding. I have been doing my best to stay grounded as much a possible. I use these to avoid static shock to my video and audio equipment, which is very sensitive and can be interfered with otherwise.

Cons

I have static problems at my current job and thought they would help. It kind of works but can't figure out how it should be used. Poorly made.
