In a nutshell if you want to go with a tall version of what ever size you want try one size down and you should be good to go

Im about 200 lbs at about 510 but prefer a slight more fitted fit

I gave the large tall a try but it was a little too baggy for me although these jackets in general are designed to have a loose fit to them
