Pros

This 5 gram package is the best value purchase of saffron available on amazon, by far. It's cheaper so making up for using more!

Packaging is very beautiful and great for gifting. The flavor is unmistakable and vibrant. Saffron is essential for this dish. It smells fragrant fresh and tasted excellent too.

Cons

If not legit, water pulls red and saffron loses color. The stigma is thicker than the style and looks like a horn.

This makes it impossible to grind to a powder for use. If you go to return immediately either they ask for shipping or not eligible for returns.

The box says 1 oz but the packet weighs only 0. Oz. Does not impart saffron qualities or color. Not sure if it lost its properties over time or they put the bad ones mixed with the good ones.
