I went through the clock setup procedure which is optional

If you dont do it the sound files will have the wrong date but the recordings should still come out fine

For this to work the clock needs setting and there is a program called settime supplied on the usb drive to do this

It reads the time from your computer clock and gives it to the usb stick so then it is set up and ready to go

To do this you need to plug the usb recorder into a windows computer not mac making sure that the recording switch is set to off

Open the usb drive in windows file explorer and you should see that the usb drive has been given a drive letter
