You can charge up to 4 at a time and if you need to charge 3 2 or just 1 you can because they charge independently

The last one i had wouldnt work unless you were charging 2 batteries at a time on either the right side or the left side and not everything requires an even number of batteries

The blue lcd light stays on until all the batteries are charged and the batteries that are still charging will blink while the other ones that are fully charged will not

When all the batteries are charged the lcd will turn off

There is also a refresh button that you can activate using the black button on the side and if they become too hot they will stop charging

It can charge aa and aaa batteries at the same time wont charge if inserted wrong
