Unfortunately while you can buy the larger pliers by themselves the only way to get the smaller one is to buy them together

The mechanism needs to be accurate so that no matter which way you are using the tool the jaws will close all the way

It seems that one way or another one side will get full force while the other will be limited because the jaws bind up on the opposite side
