Pros

It's cotton ans says it's breathable, so the mattress inside won't develop mold. Washed it and put it on along with the comforter protector. Hope it keeps the dust mites out.

Cotton (100%) fabric was tightly woven and well made. My mattress is 8 thick and this cover would certainly fit a thicker mattress as well. This cover is soft and does not make noises or cause overheating while we sleep.

Cons

Washing it one time (per instructions) turns it into a very rough sandpaper texture. This just reeks. It's not a chemical fume smell, it's more like this thing needs a bath and deodorant.
