Id recommend for a beginner shooter but if more then a couple times a month id suggest spending the money for the better protection

These are identical to others for sale on amazon at a higher price pyramax for example so save your money and buy these if you are looking for the cheapest muffs for occasional use

Before you buy these check out the fit of something in a store

For example in a highly scientific test conducted in my den for me to hear an annoying commercial at about the same level as my tv sounded at volume level 13 i had to put it on 20 or so when wearing the earmuffs

Still they let me come home from the shooting range with my hearing intact so thats what counts i suppose

They fold up small and they dont look as goofy as some

You will be buying a minimal cost pair of ear muffs and one cannot expect them to compete with the premium units that cost real money
