I did have to sand the gap between to ends of the barrel band but it was not much on an issue

Some important notes read the attached instructionsfirst you have to attach the rear swivel screw by first drilling a hole in the stock 2

Second for the front swivel at least on a 1022 you will have to file down the front ring band in order for the swivel to fit

Sized the drill bit to the hardware and got a nice tight fit in a wood stock then checked the size and it was a 532 as per the instructions
