Pros & Cons

Pros

Light was placed under a 2 story deck and is working as advertised. Easy to install and detects motion from about 30 feet. Works great, put on the corner of my house where the fence line is.

Be sure to back off the lock nuts first, make your adjustments, then retighten the lock nut. I highly recommend them as they are also a great bargain.

The motion detector is on a nice long stalk which allows it to be positioned well below the lights and aimed where you want it. There’s plenty of adjustments that can be made to the light positioning and the motion sensor also.

Metal fixture seems sturdy. Eave mounted means everything gets tucked behind the eave, even the wire nuts. Comes with rubber gaskets to go around the base of the bulbs.

Cons

The motion sensor is junk. Light comes on for only 4 seconds then goes off, no matter what setting you have it on. It only has a timer dial.

This fixture is designed only to mount using diagonal holes on a junction box. Since this fixture is mounted high over the garage, that 15' is completely useless. Fixture is not so inexpensive after you buy the bulbs.

Quality

Sensor works well and easy to install

Works well as described decent quality and no issues

The ones that came with the fixture were too small maybe by one size

The eaton lights were superior in quality and functionality

Packaging/appearance

Was hoping to have the light turn on from about 50 feet away

On the other hand the shields encase the bulb fairly snug such there isnt a lot of room to get your fingers in there to screw the bulbs in

Instead there are two holes provided on the outer rim of the base which line up with the threaded holes in the box

Could be easier to set distance and sensitivity

Motion detector parts are plastic though

For the benefit of those thinking about this light i offer the following observations1

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Many lights use a bracket which is screwed to the outlet box

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

The fixture is then attached to the bracket with a single screw through the center of the base

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

This fixture however mounts directly to the outlet box without any bracket

Instead there are two holes provided on the outer rim of the base which line up with the threaded holes in the box

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

On the negative side it limits the ability to turn the base relative to the box
