Pros
Simple setup, quick and sooooo much cheaper than my previous “professionally monitored’ system. This system is amazing and the best bang for your buck.
The ring app is an excellent tool for arming and disarming the system, and modifying the system’s settings.
Setting up is a breeze, except the motion sensor. First set of battery is included.
The ring alarm 14-piece kit (2nd gen) monitors and alerts when motion is sensed or contacts are broken. Brilliant for monitoring power outages. All sensors have green led indicators. Activating the indicators is optional.
Cons
Do not buy this overpriced alarm system. Troubleshooting for that suggested removing the keypad. Cannot add keypad back onto the system, binary still there and outdoor sensor is incapacitated.
The android app is absolute garbage. Will only connect to the alarm through wifi and not cellular.

The third hurdle was not overcome even with the help of the ring technical support over the phone
Price
For the 15 a month this is the best value for peace of mind in a crazy world
The best part is that same subscription price covers my three doorbells and two outside security floodlightcameras as well
Has monitoring for 7month if you want it
And don’t forget to call your insurance company and let them know you have an alarm system for a discount on home insurance

Ive searched all over the place for how to wipe that from the motion detector and door magnet nothing works and each time i need to to activate system i have to checkpress the bypass button

I bought this system to replace an existing alarm system recently expired 4 year contract that was too expensive to renewi do have a few issues with the system in generalthe motion sensors are not nearly as sensitive as existing system

On two occasion after disarming the system it immediately armed again
