Pros

I own thousands of kindle books and i read every day without fail. I read books like most people eat peanuts, at least 3 to 4 hours a night. When finishing a book a screen is displayed asking for a review.

I am not a paid reviewer just a lady that loves her oasis. It is pricey but it's been worth the money. Every single penny.

The one thing i despise is the battery life. Airplane mode helps extend the battery. The only cons for me are that battery isn't as good as the voyage.

My kindle library is accessible on the fire tablet. I still have a kindle keyboard reader that's going strong after 11 years. I hope this helps someone.

Cons

The device becomes unresponsive on a regular basis. Checked the internet, checked reddit, tried all the obvious vis-a-vis device manager/reboots/etc. No validation that the problem was indeed not just a plug error.

Kindle paperwhite lasts for two weeks, oasis lasts for a few days. Oasis gobbles battery so you constantly need to recharge. Constantly have to charge it. It could go weeks without recharging.

Unfortunately, this oasis is a rip off.

Home page is a joke--nothing but a storefront full of ads. Customer support is unhelpful. Micro usb (rather than usb-c) and ads on a device at this price point?
